The Schertelshöhle is located in the extreme northwest of the Alb-Donau district on the Laichinger Alb near Westerheim, in a beautiful forest and hiking area. Descend into one of the most impressive show caves in the Swabian Alb and be amazed by the breathtaking stalactite formations.

During a 25-minute cave tour you will be guided through the 212 m long stalactite cave on well-lit and easy-to-walk paths and you will learn interesting facts about the history of the Schertelshöhle.

Then strengthen yourself in the cave rest house with a small snack. In the immediate vicinity there is a barbecue area and a playground.
