The cave adventure world of Giengen-Hürben awaits visitors of all ages with a wide range of activities: On a tour of the Charlottenhöhle – at 587 m one of the longest walk-in show caves in southern Germany – you can experience a real stalactite paradise and learn interesting things about the local karst landscape.

The interactive adventure museum HöhlenSchauLand at the foot of the cave promises an exciting journey through time under the motto “Fascination cave.man.nature”: Immerse yourself in prehistoric times, become an archaeological researcher yourself and slip into their cave with bats. Imparting knowledge about the history of the earth in an entertaining way is guaranteed in any case.

Finally, the cave house opposite provides clear information about the formation, discovery and opening of the cave. Exciting encounters with dinosaurs, mammoths, cave lions, Neanderthals and the beginnings of human art and culture more than 35,000 years ago also await you here. Incidentally, touching the exhibits is permitted, as the exhibition aims to encourage playful learning.
