Not far from the Minster is the Ulm City Hall, easily recognizable by its opulent exterior painting from the early Renaissance. The ornate astronomical clock was attached to the Ulm town hall around 1520. The lavish facade painting was also extended to the old building and shows didactic representations of virtues, commandments and vices.

In the stairwell you can admire the replica of Albrecht Ludwig Berblinger’s flying machine, the legendary ‘Schneider von Ulm’.
