Meersburg Castle
Meersburg Castle, also Old Castle or Old Castle, in Meersburg on Lake Constance is considered the oldest inhabited castle in Germany due to the construction of the first castle at this point in the 7th century, but no building substance is recognizable from that time.
The castle is also known as the Old Castle in contrast to the New Castle opposite, which was built in the first half of the 18th century.
